“ This is a quintessential WV experience, brought to us by a big city chef and his family, who retired to Nebo WV and found out that he lied to himself! And we're all glad that he got smart. Went there for the 1st time recently, it's country as it gets and it couldn't be any better. They were busy, we waited 30 mins for our pizza, and it was worth every stinking minute. Fending off the free range chickens that all oddly had the same look on their face of "are you gonna eat your crust?" The creek over your shoulder, the old barn, picnic tables, their garden where a white chef's coat comes out to pick as they go. All of it just right. Especially the sourdough crust, I ate a whole pizza by myself and didn't feel full at all, for real, it's genius because I had plenty of room to inhale the peach cobbler ice cream after. BTW, I'm not a complete pig, some of the chickens got a few scraps of crust, teehee. Well worth the drive from anywhere. Get here or you're missing out! ”

“ Why it took me 10 years to visit here is beyond me. Well, good things come to those who wait. The pizza here was excellent! All fresh ingredients and the quality was top notch. Get the cheese bread for sure. Now for the ice cream part. The butter pecan is ridiculously delicious. The flavor of roasted pecans, vanilla and a sweetness is in every bite. I’d get this every time. The chocolate was good and had that deep chocolate syrup taste. Take cash to pay. Seating is outside. The chickens are friendly but will want to be your BFF over some pizza crust. It was recommended we call ahead as they get busy and we did so and had our order in 30 minutes as promised. I highly recommend this spot and will be making the drive again soon. ”

“ This evening I had the privilege of driving the 1 hour and 15 minutes to Nebo, WV just to eat at Pizzas & Cream! What an amazing experience! Absolutely the best Wood Fired Pizza I've ever had! It's not just a pizza place... It is truly a one of a kind West Virginia experience! After driving into the middle of nowhere, we turned down a little one lane side road to find both sides of the road lined with parked cars (I counted 32 cars when we arrived). You literally walk through someone's yard and go to a little building next to their house. After standing in line to order, you enter the little building and order your pizza and homemade ice cream and wait for your name to be called. There is no inside dining. They have 8 picnic tables scattered around the farmyard. I enjoyed amazing pizza while sharing my crust with the roaming chickens at my feet. Incredibly fresh ingredients! We watched as they quite literally went out and picked the basil for one of our pizzas right from the garden before going back in to make it for us. I hope I get to do this again soon! ”

“ Great eat after Rails to Trails in Clay County. The owner and employees were very kind & welcoming. The owner started a fire for us We loved our pizza’s and homemade ice cream. I’ve been to Italy twice & his pizza tastes just like I was in beautiful Italy. I wish there was a location in Charleston... No photos of the pizzas because they were consumed so quickly * cash only * & I recommend calling before to place your order ”

“ My son convinced me to stop. I was hesitant to go down the little country road but once we found the place, met the owner, and smelled the pizza, we were sold. Some of the best crust I've ever had. The ice cream and Italian ice were A+! Not only is Pizza & Cream worth the stop, but it's a destination! Or could/should be. ”

“ What a gem- we were looking for a bite to eat after riding Rail Explorers. Their pizza is so good- and the staff was amazing, very friendly and attention is given to make sure it’s cooked just right. And their homemade peach cobbler ice cream was to die for. We travel a lot and are ice cream snobs and this is definitely in our top 3 (if not #1). Definitely worth the drive ”

“ They do get busy, this visit wasn't very busy with people eating there since it was storming. They still had alot of carry out though. I've never had to wait more than 30 minutes for my food, so they are quick. They have a gravel parking lot, you'll park there then go up to the building. It is small so typically only 1 group at a time can be inside. They have a vintage coca cola cooler with bottled water and full sugar glass bottle soda. They have a two page list of specialty pizzas beside the register or you can "build your own". They come in 1 size. 1 pizza usually feeds 2-3 adults in my experience. They have picnic tables sitting outside for you to use if you want to eat there. Just keep in mind it is outdoor seating. You can call in advance if you're in a hurry. They offer homemade ice cream and you can turn those into milkshakes as well. ”
